You know how my changeling character Venom Stinger feels that since he doesn’t have a rank, he feels “just that one changeling in the hive.”
Well, I sometimes feel that I’m in the same position as him.
Because I usually feel like “just that one user who writes stories like everyone else does” and nothing else.
So... yeah.
Does anyone else feel this way?
A few wise words of advice!

#1: Say “no” to those who ask for forgiveness! It is BAD. Just imagine how many times they can take advantage of you and stab you in the back!
#2: Don’t fall for their physical apology gifts! If they’re not willing to verbally own up to their mistakes and instead sweep their crimes under the rug, that’s no good!
And last but not least!
#3: Family > Friends!
This is gonna be awkward to explain. I dunno how I came to this decision, but…

“Hmph. Thorax keeps rambling about how I have to work on ‘be the bigger bug and let things go. ’ Guess I do have to work on it, but only to make him shut up about it for once. I’ll start on that today.”
“BOO!”
Venom flinched, before glaring at the cackling changeling in front of him.
“Haha! Oh, you should’ve seen your face! I got you good!”
The loud creaking of the door opening immediately caught Griff’s attention away from his parchment. He looked up to see one of his brothers at the door. The blue changeling rubbing his eyes with a foreleg.
“Venom? It’s two in the morning! What are you still up for?”
Venom didn’t respond. He walked over to Griff, climbing up onto the bed, blanket in hold, before curling up and silently snoozing away.
“...Pharynx?”
Pharynx opened an eye, before sitting up in bed. “...What’s up, shrimpbug?”
Venom huffed quietly, ignoring the nickname. “I uh... heard what happened with you and that... guy uh... what’s his name?”
“What? My dad? Psh, come on Venom, that stuff was nothing. I’m over it.”
“Well, then, I was all like ‘no,’ and then you were like, ’you are!’ And then he was all like, ‘No, but then you are!’ And I was all like, ‘I kind of am.’ So long story short he's kind of my boyfriend right now.”
“Phaaaaryyynx!”
“Sheesh, calm down, Venom. What do you want?”
“You’re a meateater, right?”
“Uh... yes?”
“Good, then you could help us with the bonfire!”
“Bonfire?”
“Yeah, our cousin’s gonna be there!”
“You have a cousin?”
“Yeah, Kevin! You met him, right?”
“Thank you, come again!” Ramirez waved at her most recent customer who was now walking out the door. Today had been a good day for her, not many ponies have come by so she had enough time to call her husband and check up on her kids.
She was about to do exactly that when the ringing of the bell above the door caught her attention. Putting her phone away, she got back onto her stool and greeted her next customer. “Welcome! How can I help… you…” she trailed off upon seeing who it was.
“You know what, Pharynx? Someday, you’ll go far.”
“Gee, thanks Ve—”
“And I hope you’ll stay there.”
“...”
“Hey, Venom? Could you help me with something?”
“Hm?”
“I uh... have this weird urge to do something stupid.”
“Okay, do Pharynx then.”
“About time the floor is finally dry! I swear we’re gonna get them this time...”
“Venom, I understand that you’re mad... but aren’t you taking this a little too seriously?”
“How am I taking this too seriously? They hurt you!”
“No, they didn’t.”
“Yes, they did!”
“No... they didn’t.”
*sigh* “I feel really bad for Hero.”
“Oh? Why, Venom?”
“He constantly gets referred to as ‘cute’ by everyone to his expense. I can imagine how annoying and embarrassing it is for him.”
“I don’t really think he minds that much.”
“Have you seen him every time it happens? He always denies it, yet others style mess with him and say he is.”
“Okay, do we have everything? Flammable liquid, fire extinguisher? Spiny, do you have those chemicals ready?” Venom asked as the two changeling brothers walked down the staircase leading into a lower room. Their older brother followed behind them with a curious expression.
“Remind me what is going on here…?”
“We volunteered to style your mane, of course! Not only is it probably filled with glass from our trip to the beach, but it’s probably doused quite a bit from the ocean.”
“Augh, I just do not get this book!”
“What now, Venom? Let me guess; Chrysalis never taught you how to read?”
